New Course:
Professional Scrum
Product Owner™-Advanced

Mastering the Product Owner Stances

The course goes beyond the topics explored in the Professional Scrum Product Owner class by deepening the attendee’s understanding of the role through the exploration of the many stances of a professional Product Owner. This course is an interactive, experiential workshop where attendees explore topics through a series of exercises and discussions. Students should have at least one year of Product Owner experience and a practical knowledge of Scrum in order to participate in and benefit from these exercises. Having previously taken the PSPO class is recommended, but not required.

Applying Professional Scrum™

Applying Professional Scrum (APS) is a hands-on course that provides the foundational knowledge needed to work with Scrum in a highly practical way. The course is a combination of instruction and team-based exercises. During the exercises, students work in Scrum Teams over a series of Sprints to learn Scrum while using Scrum. They experience first-hand how the Scrum framework improves their ability to deliver value compared to traditional methods.

Scaled Professional Scrum™ with Nexus

The Scaled Professional Scrum (SPS) Workshop will show you how to launch, structure, staff, and manage a large agile or Scrum project. In this workshop you will organize and simulate a scaled software development project to learn the infrastructure, tools and practices needed for success. You will leave knowing how to scale Scrum in order to maximize the value of your software development initiative.

Professional Scrum Master™

The Professional Scrum Master (PSM) course is a course that covers the principles and (empirical) process theory underpinning the mechanics, rules and roles of the Scrum framework. Advanced tools for servant-leadership are provided to increase a Scrum Master’s effectiveness. These tools relate to behavioral shifts, working with people and teams, coaching and facilitation techniques, and addressing the organization.

Professional Scrum Master™ II

The Professional Scrum Master II (PSM II) course is an Advanced Scrum Master course designed to support experienced Scrum Masters in their professional journeys. This course is a combination of instruction and facilitated exercises looking at the challenges that Scrum Masters face and how the principles and values of Scrum help them to deal with those situations.

Professional Scrum Product Owner™

The Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) is a course on how to maximize the value of software products and systems. Product Ownership in Scrum today requires more than knowledge of how to write requirements or manage a Product Backlog. Professional Scrum Product Owners need to have a concrete understanding of every-thing that drives value from their products.

Professional Scrum™ with Kanban

Professional Scrum with Kanban™ (PSK) is a 2-day course that teaches Scrum practitioners how to apply Kanban practices to their work without changing Scrum. Through theory, case studies, and hands-on exercises, participants will understand the importance of transparency and flow as it pertains to the Scrum framework.

Professional Scrum Developer™

Professional Scrum Developer (PSD) is a 3-day workshop course that teaches students how to apply Scrum to work in Sprints and frequently deliver high-quality increments of valuable software. Students apply modern engineering
practices, face real-world challenges and apply the Scrum framework to cope with them.

Professional Scrum™ with User Experience

Professional Scrum with User ExperienceTM (PSU) is a hands-on course where students with some Scrum experience will learn how to integrate modern UX practices, (UX is more than UI) into the way they are working in Scrum and how to work most effectively within Scrum Teams. Design work can sometimes feel slow, and not well suited to quick agile cadences and Scrum events, but that isn’t the case. Learn UX techniques that fit beautifully into Scrum, and practice these techniques with cross-functional teams in class.
